Appalachian Trail Work Trip
Pine Island Camp has been a volunteer maintainer on the Appalachian Trail since the 1950s. Boys sign up for our annual ATC trip early in the summer and spend three days based at Pierce Pond. They clear the five-mile section of trail from Pierce Pond to the Kennebec River.
