February 2015  The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous, and Smart About Money by Ron Lieber — Simple and gracious living has been at the core of Pine Island Camp's mission since 1902. We are proud that these virtues are recognized in Ron Lieber's new book The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous, and Smart About Money. Ron is a personal finance columnist for the New York Times. He visited Pine Island last summer and found that our camp embodies the principles promoted in his book. We couldn't agree more!

Alumnus Robert Moor has written an article about the War Game and it appears in the July issue of Down East Magazine (to read it now, click here).

July 2012 BBC News MagazineUS summer camp: Survival lessons in New England.  BBC correspondent and camp parent Laura Trevelyan writes about Pine Island Camp in the July issue of the BBC Magazine.

May 2012 Martha Stewart Living — Through the efforts of camp parents Becky Lewis and Andrea Raisfeld, the May issue of Martha Stewart Living Magazine features prominently a group of gorgeous and moving photographs of Pine Island Camp taken by noted photographer and camp parent William Abranowicz. The article that accompanies the photographs is about the author's experiences at another Maine camp, but the sentiments ring very true. Don't miss the issue! (To see it now, click here.)
